I specialize in both! I use ABBYY FineReader, an industry-leading OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine, to extract text from high-resolution scans, images, and flattened PDFs while maintaining the original layout and table structures.
Will the Word document look exactly like my original PDF?
Yes. My goal is 100% fidelity. I manually reconstruct headers, footers, columns, and tables to ensure the final MS Word or PowerPoint file is a "mirror image" of your original, but fully editable.
Are your files ready for CAT tools like Trados or MemoQ?
Absolutely. This is a core part of my service. I perform "tag cleaning" and ensure the document uses proper Word Styles. This prevents "tag soup" in your translation software and ensures a smooth import/export process.
What if my document has complex mathematical formulas or chemical notations?
have extensive experience with technical and scientific documents. I use MS Word’s Equation Editor to reconstruct notations manually, ensuring they are searchable and editable rather than just blurry screenshots.
Do you use AI to convert the files?
