After graduating from Stanford University (BS in Biology), I was accepted to US medical schools (both MD and DO schools) but decided to attend a medical school in South Korea for personal reasons. After my time in Korea, I returned to the US and matched to psychiatry this year. I will be starting as a PGY-1 at Creighton University this summer. Throughout my journey, I had to write many personal statements for myself and also collaborated with many others in crafting their stories. I understand how daunting this path is and am passionate about helping other applicants in their respective journeys.
