About this gig
ABOUT ME
Hubi Hofmann - professional bassist, producer, mixing & mastering engineer since 2005, studied at some of the most renowned music faculties, and worked on countless releases with hundreds of artists around the world.
I'll be glad to help all your musical needs (not only mix/master your album, but record bass or add supporting tracks to your music) as producer, so be sure to contact me and talk about your project first!
ABOUT THIS GIG
Before ordering, please contact me to talk about your vision. This is the most important part!
You'll then send me your files and I'll check if there are any problems. If that's not the case, I'll send you an offer.
I'll mix and master your song according to your vision and highest quality audiophile standards. If you need special processing that you didn't include in recording (like delay/reverb), let me know.
The WAV file will be optimized for CD, Vinyl, AND Apple Digital Masters (unless you tell me to provide different versions) and it will be delivered within the given time frame.
You'll get revisions if needed (to adjust to your taste), but it will take me 1-2 more days of delivery time. And once you're happy, I am happy :)

FAQ
Do you offer reamping?
No. I want you to commit to your own sound. You can include additional DI tracks for safety, but I will probably delete them.
Can you make the master as loud as XYZ?
Yes, I can. But I probably won't if it's doing more harm than good.
Will you edit my drums or tune my vocals?
If it's just minor edits, I can include that. But if you need serious editing, contact me before ordering and I can provide that for an additional charge.
What sample rate / bit depth should I deliver the tracks?
Please deliver your tracks aligned starting at the same position and in the sample rate/bit depth you recorded at, but at least at 44,1kHz/24bit.
Can I get a discount for a whole album/EP?
Yes, we can talk about that - for example if many of your songs are from the same recording session, this could be a good option.
What if my song(s) is/are longer than 5min?
10% longer is ok and included in the price :) If you're having very long songs, please contact me first - I'm sure I can give you a good deal for your budget!
Will the mastering be Apple Digital Masters standard?
Yes, I am an officially certified Apple Digital Masters mastering engineer, and all my masters will hold those specifications.
