Q: Will this change the look or design of my store?
A: No. All fixes are done in the background (code, scripts, images, loading behavior). Your store's design, layout, and branding stay exactly the same. If any change could visually affect your site, I'll confirm with you first.
Q: Do you need admin access to my Shopify store?
A: Yes, I'll need collaborator access to your Shopify admin so I can work directly in your theme code. You can add me as a collaborator from Settings > Users and permissions, or share store staff access. I don't need your login password.
Q: What if my speed score doesn't improve much after the fix?
A: Some scores are limited by your theme or the number/type of apps installed. If that's the case, I'll tell you upfront during the audit and explain what's realistically achievable, plus what would require bigger changes (like a theme switch) to go further.
Q: Will installing apps on my store affect the results later?
A: Yes, every new app you add after the fix can reintroduce slow scripts. I'll flag which apps are currently hurting your speed, and you're welcome to check back with me before adding new ones if you want to keep scores high.
Q: Do you work with all Shopify themes?
A: Yes, I work with both free and premium themes (Dawn, Impulse, Prestige, custom builds, etc.). Custom or heavily modified themes may take slightly longer to audit, which I'll factor into delivery time if needed.
Q: How do I know what my current score is?
A: You don't need to check anything beforehand, I run the full audit myself using Google PageSpeed Insights and real load testing, then send you a before/after report with your actual scores.
Q: What's the difference between the packages?
A: Basic covers a full audit plus image fixes. Standard adds theme code cleanup and font/script fixes. Premium includes a full app audit to catch hidden speed killers from installed apps, plus more revision rounds.
Q: How long does it take to see the improvement live?
A: Fixes are usually live on your store within the delivery window (2-5 days depending on package). Google's own reporting tools (like Search Console) can take 1-4 weeks to reflect the updated Core Web Vitals data on their end, since that's outside my control.
