I will teach you beginner to intermediate banjo lessons

Have you just purchased a banjo and don't know where to start? Are you an advanced picker and just want to learn more songs? Either way, I am here to help.

I have played the banjo for 22 years, 5 of which I took private lessons on the instrument. I have a combined teaching experience in-person & online lessons of 7 years. I play several instruments and have taught in different cultures and contexts. I have experience teaching adults and children as well. I lived in Bulgaria for two years where I also taught music to youth. My teaching style is largely based on the student. If they want to learn certain songs, I do my best to accommodate them. If they struggle with basic concepts, then I will spend a large amount of time working to improve their basic skills.
