FAQ
Do you make sizzle reels?
I do not make sizzle reels; I make recruiting highlights. Coaches find that all the graphics and flash get in the way being able to view your footage naturally, and my job is to set up your video for success in your recruiting journey.
What sports do you cover?
All of them. I have experience editing every position of every sport. Basketball point guard? LAX long stick middie? Rowing coxswain? All are welcome!
What do you need from us besides the game footage?
At a minimum: jersey number, color, and position on the field. I've found that it helps to provide as much information as possible, though. Do you sub in and out? What are the timestamps? Are you wearing bright yellow shoes/cleats? Is your hair a certain way. These additional details really help.
Can we log the plays we want included?
Of course. If you know the exact highlights you'd like to include in your video, I invite you to submit a log that includes your jersey number, color, the video timestamp, and what you're doing in the video.
What will my finished highlight look like?
All highlights will include an opening and closing wipe or stat graphic, 3-5 minutes of your strongest highlights front-loaded, and each play will be spot-shadowed so that coaches can easily spot you on the court/field.
Why did you take out the game audio?
Coaches often find the game sound distracting and will mute the video altogether when watching them. No one wants to hear mom and dad screaming in the background while you're playing. I find that a music track works well, though, and maintains a strong pacing.
