I’m fortunate enough to turn what I love into my career. I’ve been engaged in carving for more than fifteen years. I love carving, and I love working at my craft in my little studio. I carve unforgettable faces, moments etched in memory, and symbols of faith onto metal, stone and wood. The moment a piece is finished, the excitement is beyond words. I imagine these works ending up somewhere unknown in the world, being admired, being touched, or quietly gathering dust. Day after day, year after year, stretching into the distant future, a strange and profound feeling always rises in my heart.
