What is "ABS-Like" resin and why do you use it?
Standard resin is very brittle. ABS-like resin is engineered to be much tougher and more flexible. It’s perfect for miniatures or vehicle kits because it can survive a drop or a bump without snapping, while still maintaining the crisp, high-resolution detail you expect from 3D printing.
Do I need to wash or cure the models when they arrive?
Nope! All models come fully processed. I handle the support removal, an isopropyl alcohol wash, and a final UV cure. They arrive at your door dry, non-tacky, and ready for assembly or primer.
Can you print clear parts for vehicle windows or effects?
Yes! I offer a Crystal Clear resin option which is great for cockpits, windows, or magical effects. For the best "glass" look, I recommend applying a quick coat of clear gloss paint or floor polish once you receive them to really make that transparency pop.
What if my model has very delicate parts?
I’m very experienced with support placement and removal. Using ABS-like resin helps significantly with durability, but if a part is exceptionally thin (like a needle or a wire), I’ll let you know during the quoting process if I think it needs any adjustments for a successful print.
Do you offer painting services?
Yes! While I handle the technical printing, I partner with a professional painter for high-end commissions. If you’d like your models, vehicles, or terrain finished to a display standard, just let me know when you message me.
Can I choose the paint scheme?
Absolutely. If you opt for the painting service, we’ll discuss your vision, color palettes, and any reference images you have. My painter works closely with me to ensure the finish matches the high detail of the ABS-like resin prints.
Does painting add to the delivery time?
Yes. Professional painting is a manual process that takes time for layering, detailing, and drying. If you add painting to your order, we’ll agree on an extended delivery window so the artist has the time needed to deliver a top-tier result.
Will the clear resin parts be painted?
Usually, we leave the translucent or "Crystal Clear" parts unpainted (or apply a clear gloss) to preserve their look. However, we can do "tinting" or selective painting (like frames on a cockpit window) if that's what your project needs.
