About this gig
I am a professional graphic designer with more than 15 years of experience in childrens book illustration and complete book design. My creative process begins with handdrawn illustrations, which I then refine digitally using Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop to ensure vibrant, polished, and professional results.
After reading your manuscript, I create sample illustrations with typography to establish the visual style and narrative. The art direction, conceptualization, and final design decisions are entirely mine. Once approved, we move forward with the complete illustrated book: front cover, back cover, internal illustrations, and professional layout. Typography, color palette, and graphic style are carefully selected to guarantee consistency and enhance the impact of the story.
Final files are prepared in Adobe InDesign, optimized for both print and digital publishing, including Amazon KDP requirements. The logo and cover are created in Adobe Illustrator, and image editing is carried out in Adobe Photoshop.

What information do you need from my book to create an illustrated and designed cover?
To start working on your book, I need the final written version of the manuscript. I also require the book size you prefer according to Amazon KDP standards, and if your characters are already defined, a brief physical description of each one. This will allow me to create illustrations.
How will we work together in creating the cover?
We will work closely together. We will start with an initial consultation to discuss your ideas and preferences. I will present initial sketches and make adjustments based on your feedback until we achieve a cover that reflects your vision and meets your expectations.
