An Amazon skincare/beauty seller needed 7 months of exported sales reports combined into one clean, analysis-ready file. The raw data had merged fields, inconsistent currency formats, extra whitespace, and multiple delimiter styles (pipe, tilde, comma) crammed into single columns a common problem with exported e-commerce reports.

What I did:

Split multi-delimiter fields (e.g., SW-101 | 2025-04-01, B001~Rahul Sharma~Delhi~...) into clean, separate columns using Text to Columns and formulas
Standardized inconsistent currency formats (, "INR", "Rs", plain numbers) into a single numeric format
Removed extra spaces and hidden characters with TRIM/CLEAN
Standardized date formats across files with different date conventions
Consolidated multiple monthly files into one master dataset
Built PivotTables to answer the client's reporting questions: product & category-wise sales, city-wise sales, payment mode breakdown, top-selling products

Tools used: Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, TRIM/CLEAN/TEXT functions, Text to Columns)

Result: A single, clean, consolidated report ready for further analysis, turning a manual multi-hour monthly task into a repeatable process.
