I come from a Linux and hosting background, so when something goes wrong I can actually fix it.
Fun fact I can solve a Rubik's cube in under a minute, WCA-certified. I like solving problems with patterns, that turns out to be useful for websites too.

What do you need from me to get started?
After ordering, send me your content (text, images, brand colors if you have them), examples of websites you like, and what each page should accomplish. The clearer the brief, the faster the delivery.
How much will hosting cost me after the site is built?
Cloudflare Pages is free for most static sites, including SSL and global CDN. You only pay for a domain name (~$10-15/year). For most buyers, the total ongoing cost is just the domain.
Do I need to provide my own domain name?
You can either bring your own domain or buy one through Cloudflare during setup. I'll walk you through DNS configuration either way. Domain registration costs (usually $10-15/year) are separate from this gig.
Will my site work on mobile phones?
Yes. Every site I build is responsive and tested on mobile, tablet, and desktop layouts.
Do you provide content (text, images) for the site?
No, you'll need to provide the text and any images you want included. I can suggest stock photo sources and help with image optimization, but writing the copy is on you.
Can you migrate my existing WordPress / Wix / Squarespace site?
Yes, but message me first for a custom quote. Migrations involve copying content, rebuilding the design, and pointing your domain over, so the scope depends on your existing site's size.
What if I need e-commerce or user accounts later?
That's outside this gig's scope, but I can architect the site so it's easy to add Snipcart, Shopify Lite, or similar later. Let me know during scoping if this is something you're thinking about.
Why static instead of WordPress?
Static sites are faster, more secure, and cheaper to host. There are no plugins to update, no databases to back up, and no security patches to apply. For a typical small business or portfolio site, static is genuinely a better fit.
How do revisions work?
After I deliver the first version, you have 4 rounds of feedback included. A "revision" means a batch of changes you send me at once, not a single tweak per round. Additional revisions are $25 each if needed.
Can I edit the site myself after it's done?
The site lives in a Git repository, so editing requires basic familiarity with code or Markdown. If you want a "drag and drop editor" experience, a static site isn't the right fit. I can include a brief walkthrough of how to make simple text changes.
