Do you work with my existing file?
Yes. Most jobs start from your current workbook. I keep your layout and formats and only change what is needed.
VBA or Python: which is better for me?
VBA is best when everything stays inside Excel and colleagues just click a button. Python is better for large data, many files or web/API sources. I will suggest the simpler option.
Will it work on Mac or in Excel Online?
VBA works in desktop Excel for Windows and, with some limits, on Mac. It does not run in Excel Online; for that I can use Office Scripts or Google Sheets with Apps Script.
Is my data confidential?
Yes. Your files are used only for your order. You can also send a copy with dummy data instead of real figures.
Can you help with construction or engineering estimates?
Yes, this is close to my background: bills of quantities, rate build-ups, material take-offs and quotation templates.
