I will validate your app idea with a technical blueprint and estimate

About this gig
Have an app or software idea but no technical co-founder? Before you pay developers, find out whether it can be built, how, and what it will realistically take.
I review your idea the way a CTO does before committing a team, and give you a clear technical plan you can act on.
What you get (depends on the package):
- Technical validation and key risks
- Functional and non-functional requirements
- Architecture and tech stack recommendation
- Detailed estimate: WBS spreadsheet, timeline and team
- Roadmap: MVP vs full scope, what to build first
- Design mockups or a simple PoC of the core flow
Good fit if you:
- Are a non-technical founder about to hire a dev team or agency
- Need a technical plan for investors or partners
- Want an independent view before comparing agency quotes
Deliverables: PDF blueprint, WBS spreadsheet and mockups or PoC, walked through on a call. See a sample report in the gallery.
Fractional CTO, 13+ years in software engineering, 8 years in technical leadership. Led engineering across 200+ projects for clients including Goodyear, DKNY, Virgin and STIHL.

FAQ
Do I need a technical background?
No. The blueprint is written for founders, not engineers. Technical details are there for your future dev team, but every decision is explained in business terms.
How accurate is the estimate?
It's a realistic range, not a fixed quote. It tells you whether you're looking at weeks or months and what effort to plan for, so you can judge agency quotes against it
What if my idea turns out not to be feasible?
Then you find out before spending money on development. You'll get the reasons and, where possible, a simpler version that can be built.
Is my idea safe with you?
Yes. I'm happy to sign an NDA before you share details.
Can you also help build it?
Yes. Once you have the blueprint, we can discuss technical leadership or hands-on development as a separate engagement.
