Can you connect either Procore or Buildertrend to QuickBooks?
Yes, after checking your subscriptions, permissions, connector availability, and required workflow. These are different integrations with different capabilities. Procore’s QuickBooks Online connector and Buildertrend’s QuickBooks integrations should not be treated as interchangeable
Which QuickBooks versions are supported?
For Procore’s native QuickBooks Online connector, Procore lists QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced; Simple Start, Essentials, and QuickBooks Desktop are not supported by that connector. Buildertrend supports QuickBooks Online, Intuit Enterprise Suite, and QuickBooks Desktop
Will every invoice, budget, payment, and timesheet sync?
No. We must define the supported objects and direction of each data flow. For example, Procore’s QuickBooks Online integration does not sync several items, including prime contract invoices, commitments, budgets, and timesheets
Can you set up cost codes and connect them to QuickBooks?
Yes. The mapping must follow the selected integration’s rules. Buildertrend links cost codes to QuickBooks Products and Services. Procore’s QuickBooks Online integration uses project budget codes to create corresponding service items and requires an appropriate cost-code structure.
Can you show actual project costs against the budget?
Yes, where supported and correctly configured. Procore can import QuickBooks Online job costs into its Direct Costs and Budget tools. Buildertrend can include expenses entered in QuickBooks in its Job Costing Budget.
Can you fix an existing integration or duplicate-cost problem?
I can investigate the agreed issue by reviewing mappings, linked jobs, transaction origins, and sync behavior. Corrections are scoped after diagnosis rather than promised in advance. For Buildertrend, its guidance specifically addresses matching bank transactions to existing bills
