About this Gig
My name is Imogen. L. Smiley and I have a degree in Creative and Professional Writing from The University of Derby. I also, happen to have an immense love of storytelling.
But, I understand that for many writers, they find themselves getting stuck on how to start their stories. Eliminate the first draft writer's block by having me write the story for you, that you can edit and change all you like, to suit your own vision. Just send me plot and planning information for you and I will strive to love your project like you do.

FAQ
Will I be charged extra if you exceed the minimum word count in your ad?
No. I have provided the minimum word count to indicate the lowest possible volume of words you would be charged for. I often get invested and interested in story ideas, and exceed these set word counts, but, you will not be charged for my own interest in a concept!
What do you mean by 'skeleton draft'?
What I call a 'skeleton draft', is the bare bones of a story, with the most important plot points jotted in chronological order, for the rest of the work to be built around it. I believe this to be ideal service for writers who have strong ideas but are unsure about how to start.
Can I contact you for feedback on other drafts or to share ideas?
I will be charging for a workshopping service on a separate ad on my page. However, to provide my clients with clarity, I intend to provide a summary of what I have done for them alongside their finished product. At university, this was a process analysis, where we explain our choices as artists.
