What information do you need to design my database?
A description of your system, what it needs to track, and how your business process actually works. Screenshots of existing forms or Excel sheets help a lot. If you already have a database, send me the current structure and I will work from there.
Which database should I choose for my project?
It depends on your budget, expected data volume and hosting. I will recommend one honestly based on your situation rather than pushing a particular product. MySQL or PostgreSQL suit most small applications, while Oracle and SQL Server fit larger enterprise systems.
Will you explain the design or just send the script?
I always explain it. You receive a written note on why each table exists, why keys are placed where they are, and which business rules the constraints enforce. Standard and Premium packages also include an ER diagram.
What if my project needs more tables than the package allows?
Message me before ordering with a short description and I will send a custom offer with the correct scope and price. It is better to agree the scope in advance than to discover mid-project that the package does not fit.
Do you handle stored procedures and triggers too?
Yes. The Premium package includes sequences and triggers. Procedures, functions and packages can be added as a custom offer, or ordered separately through my Oracle SQL and PL/SQL gig.
What if the design does not match what I need?
Revisions are included in every package. Before I build anything I confirm my understanding in writing, so mismatches are caught early. If something is still wrong after delivery, tell me what and I will correct it.
