What information do you need to start?
Your table structure (CREATE script or column list), sample data if available, and a clear description of the output you expect. If you have an existing query that is not working, send that too. The more detail you give, the faster and more accurate the delivery.
Which Oracle versions do you work with?
I work with Oracle 11g and 12c, which covers most business systems in use today. Basic SQL work is version independent, so older or newer versions are usually fine as well. If you are unsure about your version, message me and I will confirm before you order
Can you optimize a query that is already running but too slow?
Yes. Send me the query, the table structures, approximate row counts, and the execution plan if you have it. I will identify the bottleneck, rewrite the query, and suggest indexes where they help. I will also explain what was causing the slowness.
Will you explain the code or just deliver it?
I always explain it. Every delivery includes commented code and a short note on how the logic works, so your team can maintain it after I am gone. If you want a more detailed walkthrough, just ask and I will include one at no extra cost.
Do I need to give you access to my database?
No. In most cases I only need your table structure and sample data, and I test everything on my own environment. I never ask for live production credentials. If direct access is genuinely required, we agree on it first and you control what is shared.
What if the query does not give the result I wanted?
Then it is not finished. Revisions are included in every package. Tell me what is different from what you expected and I will correct it. My goal is a working solution, not a delivered file.
Can you also build reports or a full module, not just one query?
Yes. I have four years of ERP development experience covering HR, Payroll, Inventory, Purchase, Production and Finance. For larger work like reports, procedures or a complete module, message me with the requirement and I will send a custom offer.
How fast can you deliver?
