My name is Maya. I'm an international writer, editor, consultant and trainer. I have a Master's degree in Writing, followed by a long global career in Communications. I was recently the author's editor to Gary Marcus on his new book on AI, Taming Silicon Valley.
Countless long documents I've edited include a 16-volume family encyclopedia and a user manual for CERN. Years ago, I helped edit Guy Kawasaki's memoir Wise Guy.
I'm familiar with a range of work environments, so I'm equally comfortable in high-tech or artistic contexts, in business writing or public affairs, in legalese or in PR.

What platforms, apps, and/or formats you use for editing?
To track changes, I use Libre Office on Linux, fully compatible with MS Word. I'm used to working in Google Docs, even synchronously when needed. I've worked in iPages too, in both modalities (online and offline). I can even mark up PDF (the slowest), but be aware you will need to copy my revisions.
