FAQ
What is the best way to scan my photo for restoration?
For the best results, use a flatbed scanner at 600 DPI or higher. Scan in full color (even for B&W photos) and save as a TIFF or high-quality PNG to preserve as much detail as possible. Avoid using mobile phone cameras unless a scanner is unavailable, as they often introduce glares and distortion.
Can you fix a photo that is missing a piece or has severe face damage?
Yes, in many cases, I can reconstruct missing areas by blending textures or using reference photos. However, if a face is almost entirely missing, results may not be 100% accurate. Please message me first for a custom evaluation of heavily damaged photos.
Will you colorize my black-and-white photos?
Absolutely. I can add realistic, authentic color based on your specific instructions or historical references.
How long does the restoration process take?
Most simple restorations are delivered within 12–24 hours. Highly complex projects with severe damage or colorization may take 2-3 business days.
Can I enlarge my small wallet-sized photos?
Yes, I can upscale and sharpen small photos for larger prints. Note that while I use AI and manual sharpening to boost quality, extremely blurry originals may have limits on how much they can be enlarged.
