For the best results, use a flatbed scanner at 600 DPI or higher. Scan in full color (even for B&W photos) and save as a TIFF or high-quality PNG to preserve as much detail as possible. Avoid using mobile phone cameras unless a scanner is unavailable, as they often introduce glares and distortion.
Can you fix a photo that is missing a piece or has severe face damage?
Yes, in many cases, I can reconstruct missing areas by blending textures or using reference photos. However, if a face is almost entirely missing, results may not be 100% accurate. Please message me first for a custom evaluation of heavily damaged photos.
