What settings should I use if I scan a photo?
Use the “photo” scanning option. Put in your DPI (dots per inch or PPI, pixels per inch). 300 DPI will give you an exact copy of your original photo. A 4”x6” photo scanned in at 300 DPI will give you a 4”x6” photo. If you wish double or triple the size, scan the image at 600 - 900 DPI.
