I will book proposal coaching, query letter coaching, literary agent, book submission
Book Coach, Manuscript Development and Publishing Consultant
About this Gig
Agents read hundreds of queries and decide in a few lines. Most rejections have less to do with the book and more to do with how it was pitched.
I coach authors through the submission process, so you learn to write your own query letter and book proposal instead of handing it off and hoping it works. You keep your voice, and you understand why each part is there.
WHAT YOU GET
- Book proposal coaching, from the market section to sample chapters
- Query letter coaching, with line by line feedback on your draft
- Literary agent research guidance, so you query agents who actually represent your genre
- Book submission strategy, covering order, timing, and tracking
- Synopsis help, so you can summarize the whole story on one clean page
No one can promise you an agent or a deal, and I will not. What you get is a sharper pitch and a clear plan.
Message me before ordering. Send me your genre, your word count, and any draft of your query or proposal you already have.

FAQ
Do you write the query letter or proposal for me?
No. This is coaching, so you write it and I guide you. I give you line by line feedback on your drafts, explain why each part matters, and help you tighten it. You keep your own voice. I can also write if you want
What is the difference between a query letter, a synopsis, and a book proposal?
A query letter is a short pitch, usually one page. A synopsis summarizes the whole story, including the ending. A book proposal is a longer business document, mostly used for nonfiction, covering your idea, your audience, your competition, and sample chapters. We work on whichever your book needs.
Is this only for novels?
No. Novels are usually pitched with a query letter and a finished manuscript. Nonfiction is usually sold on a book proposal, often before the book is finished. Memoir and children’s books each have their own approach, so tell me which you have and we start from there.
Can you guarantee I will get a literary agent or a book deal?
No, and anyone who promises that is not being honest. What I can offer is a clearer pitch, a stronger draft, and a realistic plan for submitting.
Do you send my query to agents for me?
No. You send your own submissions. I coach you on how to research agents who represent your genre, in what order to query them, and how to track responses.
Will you give me a list of agents?
I show you how to find and check agents yourself, including what to look for and what to avoid. That skill is more useful than a list, because you can use it again for your next book.
What if I have not written anything yet?
That is fine. We can start from your idea and build the pitch from scratch, though it helps if your manuscript is finished or close to it, since agents usually ask for a complete novel.
How does each package work?
Basic is one session plus feedback on a query letter draft. Standard gives you three sessions covering the query letter, synopsis, and agent research. Premium gives you six sessions for a full book proposal and a submission plan.
How long does it take?
Basic is 3 days, Standard 14 days, and Premium 30 days. A full book proposal takes real time to build well, which is why Premium runs a month.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your genre, your word count, and any draft of your query letter or proposal you already have. Send those over and I will confirm the right package.
