What is the difference between Proofreading and Editing?
Proofreading is a final check for surface-level errors (spelling, grammar, punctuation, typos). Editing (Copy-Editing) is more in-depth, focusing on improving clarity, flow, tone, word choice, and overall readability. All my packages include both!
Do you rewrite or change the core content?
No. I will correct errors and improve phrasing for clarity, but I will not rewrite large sections, change your voice, or alter the core message. My goal is to make your voice sound its best.
What kind of documents do you not accept?
I do not work on legal documents, or highly technical documents requiring specific industry knowledge (like complex medical reports). I specialize in general business, marketing, blog, and website content.
What format should I submit my document in?
Please submit your document as a Microsoft Word (.docx) file or a Google Docs link (shared with editing access). This allows me to use the essential "Track Changes" feature.
Is my document safe and confidential?
Absolutely. Your work is 100% confidential. I will never share, save, or use your document for any purpose other than completing your order. Once the order is complete, I delete the file from my local device.
