I will record psychedelic drums for your track tame impala eqsue

I am heavily inspired by the drum sounds of the 1960s and artists such as The Beatles, Cream, Pink Floyd, and Todd Rundgren. I am also heavily inspired by modern artists including Tame Impala, Pond, and Melody's Echo Chamber, and I have spent years trying to achieve the crunchy, lo-fi, punchy, blown-out drum sounds of Innerspeaker and Lonerism.

To achieve this sound, I will record using vintage drums including:

• 1960s Ludwig Superclassic Drum Kit
• 1960s Supraphonic Snare
• 1960s Zildjian/Paiste Cymbals

As well as recording equipment, techniques and microphone placements including:

• AKG D190
• Shure SM57/8
• RODE K2
• DBX 165A Comp/Lim

I will record in an acoustically treated yet vibey room to deliver you a clean recording without problematic room nodes, whilst still retaining character, delivering the best of both worlds.

All packages include some degree of recording engineering (careful mic placement, input EQ, preamp choice/colouration, phase). If you opt for the premium package, I will layer with samples to deliver you drums with the most punch and impact.
