FAQ
What file formats will I receive?
You'll get transparent PNG files (individual sprites and/or sprite sheets). PSD/Aseprite source files are available on request or as an add-on
Can you match the art style of my existing game assets?
Yes! Send me a reference image or existing assets from your project, and I'll match the color palette, pixel density, and overall style for consistency.
: What's the difference between isometric and top-down pixel art?
Isometric is drawn at an angled (usually 2:1) perspective so objects show depth on multiple sides; top-down is viewed straight from above. Isometric is the standard for city-builders and management sims; top-down suits simpler RPGs and dungeon crawlers.
Do I need animated sprites, or is static art enough?
If characters move, sit, or react in your game, you need an animated sprite sheet (walk, idle, emotes). Static art only works for backgrounds, promotional images, or games where characters don't visibly move.
What pixel size/resolution should I request?
16x16 or 32x32 is standard for retro/mobile/browser games. Larger sizes (48x48, 64x64) suit more detailed modern pixel art but increase cost and file size.
Can characters have swappable outfits or hairstyles?
Yes, but only if requested as "modular" or "layered" parts from the start — this needs to be planned into the file structure (separate layers per body part), not added after a finished sprite.
