Are you looking for someone to critique and edit your manuscript? Well, look no further!
I am Riley, I've been a beta reader/copyeditor for about two years now and I would love to read over your work!
- I will go line by line in your work to check for any errors (grammatical, punctuational, etc.)
- I will ensure the characters and dialogue are portrayed as they are supposed to be (ensuring tone is read clearly, making sure characters don't speak flatly, making sure characters are consistent)
- I will give any thoughts and critiques in comments throughout the document as I see fit as well as a secondary document going further into depth of my thoughts and how I think the book should be handled going forward.
I read a lot of YA and NA in my spare time and my favorite genres are thriller, fantasy, and mystery, but I am happy to branch out into almost anything!

Are you a native English speaker?
Yes, I was born and raised in the USA and English is my native tongue.
What file types will you work with?
I work mainly in Google Docs, I find it the easiest to read and provide comments with, but I will use and send back any file types that may be necessary.
What can I expect from your work?
In the main document that you will provide to me, I will mostly fix grammatical and punctuational errors that I see throughout the piece, adding any comments of things I think should be addressed. Attached will also be a secondary document regarding my thoughts and critiques of the piece itself.
Do you handle gorey/spicy works?
Gore is no problem for me, though if you would like to discuss details to ensure it isn't too much, all you have to do is shoot me a message :) As for spice, I would ask that all triggers and tropes be discussed with me before an order is placed, as I may not be comfortable with the topics.
Do you accept AI generated/assisted works?
No, I do not condone the use of AI in written works, or art in general. If you're looking for someone to copyedit your AI generated/assisted works, I am not the one for you. Kindly look elsewhere.
Is my file safe with you?
Yes, all work that is shared with me is kept private and secure. I will keep a copy for myself for my portfolio, but otherwise your work is not being shared.
