FAQ
What software do you use for color grading?
Mainly DaVinci Resolve, which is the industry standard for color correction and grading. I also work in Adobe Premiere Pro when a project calls for it.
What's the difference between color correction and color grading?
Color correction is the technical fix getting exposure, white balance, and skin tones looking natural and accurate. Color grading is the creative layer on top of that giving your footage a specific mood or style that matches your brand or the story you're telling.
What file formats do you accept?
Most common formats work, including MP4, MOV, AVI, MXF, and RAW files from major camera brands like Sony, Canon, RED, and Blackmagic.
How long does it take to get my video back?
It depends on footage length and how complex the grade is, but most orders are done within 24 to 72 hours. Rush delivery is available if you need it faster.
Do you need raw footage, or can I send an already-edited video?
Either works. I can grade raw footage from scratch, or take an already edited timeline exported from your editing software.
What resolution should my footage be for best results?
Yes. Send me a reference clip, a movie scene, or even a mood board, and I'll grade your footage to match that look as closely as possible.
