Each item gets a part number using a 3-level system: Class - Subclass - Part Number.
Example:
100 - Proteins
101 - Beef
101-0001 80/20 Ground Beef
101-0002 90/10 Ground Beef
101-0003 Brisket
102- Chicken
102-0001 Chicken Breast
102-0002 Chicken Thighs
200 - Dairy
For each item I'll capture: Description, Quantity on Hand, Cost per Unit, Supplier, Supplier SKU, Supplier Cost, and Lead Time.
The result: a clean Excel workbook where you can search by class, filter by supplier, see what needs reordering, and know your true material costs at a glance.

What format does my inventory need to be in to send you?
Whatever you have works. Excel, CSV, Google Sheets, photo, handwritten list, doesn't matter. I'll work with the messey data. The more informatino you can include, the more complete your finsihed system will be.
What if I don't have all the info for every item?
That's fine. Most clients are missing supplier info, costs, lead times, etc. I'll build the structure withwhat you provide and the workbook will be set up so you can filli n the rest as you go. You will not need me to come back and update later.
Will I be able to add new items myself after delivery?
Yes. The system is designed for you to grow and scale. It is simple enough to add new class, sub-classes, and part numbers.
How will this actually help my business?
