My passion for the written word has enabled me to excel in academia, and my experience in teaching the English language to second language learners has provided me with a strong basis in all things grammar and effectively getting one's message across, especially when English is not your native language.
I am happy to work on any kind of text as I am extremely confident in my abilities to proofread and (copy)edit, however, I specialise in academic writing, namely theses and articles, and creative writing ranging from blog posts and books to magazine articles and personal statements. Additionally, my educational background in philosophy has granted me a thorough understanding of the theory underpinning the humanities, and have additional experience in helping STEM graduates.

Are you fluent in English?
Yes, I am a native speaker from Ireland with several years of experience teaching English as a second language.
Can you re-write text(s) to avoid plagiarism?
I consider this to be in bad faith and thus do not offer this service. My re-writing consists of corrections, not simply re-formulations when you have copied and pasted something from somewhere else.
How do you edit the work?
I provide tracked edits in a Word document upon delivery. I can also work with buyers who prefer using Google Docs. Please message me if you have any additional questions about the delivery method.
Do you outsource any work?
No. I guarantee that all orders will be handled exclusively by me.
Do you work with non-native English speakers?
Yes! I've worked with a plethora of non-native English speakers. While I cannot offer any translation services, I can guarantee that I can transform your text into the kind a native, and competent, English speaker would write.
Do you write in British or American English?
While I typically write in British English having been raised in Ireland, I am more than familiar with American English and can edit in either variation.
