I will do bioinformatics sequence analysis in r and python

Life science scientists today need to be able to cope with vast quantities of biological data coming from experimental high throughput techniques. A solid understanding of biological processes, combined with bioinformatics and statistical expertise is an important skill in how to manage and analyze these large datasets.

As a veteran biochemist and data

Scientist, having worked on lot and lots of data analysis and Statistical modelling projects in R and Python, I have mastered all the skills for bioinformatics data modelling. 

Below is a quick list of major areas I'll handle (list not exhaustive):

Working with C BioPortal Gene networks.

Data cleaning, dealing with missing values, Normalisation, Data sampling, Data discretion, and feature selection using R

Classification and prediction methods using neural networks etc.

Determining gene alteration and finding out the type of mutation.

Clustering and similarity assessment.

Pathway analysis, discovery, and visualization.

Writing R script for clustering and pathway analysis.

Statistical skills:

Data analysis and modeling using statistical techniques.

Regression: MLR, GLM, GLMM, Logistic, etc
