Important limits
Each file must stay within your package's row limit. Up to five agreed fields are supported, including the matching ID. Complex formulas, multiple worksheets, hidden or merged data, fuzzy matching, and complex date/time matching are not supported.
Ambiguous, duplicate, or missing IDs will be flagged rather than matched by guesswork. Your original files will be preserved.

Which file formats do you support?
I support CSV and simple Excel (.xlsx) files with one worksheet, a header row, and plain-value data. Complex formulas, multiple worksheets, hidden or merged data are outside the standard service scope.
What information do you need before starting?
Please upload both files, identify the shared ID field, and specify which columns you want compared. Let me know if any data or formatting must remain unchanged.
What will the comparison report include?
The report can include matching records, records missing from either file, changed values, and flagged exceptions, with source row references where applicable.
What happens if IDs are duplicated or missing?
I will flag these records for review instead of making uncertain matches. Duplicate or missing IDs may prevent reliable matching.
What is the maximum file size?
Each file is limited by the row count in your selected package: Basic up to 500 rows, Standard up to 1,000 rows, and Premium up to 2,000 rows.
Will you change or delete my original data?
No. Your original input files will be preserved. The comparison report will identify differences and exceptions without automatically changing or deleting your source records.
Can you compare files with different structures?
The standard service is designed for files with a compatible structure and a clearly defined matching ID. Please contact me first if your column names or file structures differ significantly.
