I will beta read your fantasy or sci fi novel
About this Gig
Why should you choose me?
- I'll read your manuscript myself and give you feedback that's completely from a human perspective, not generated by AI.
- I have a background in psychology, so I understand human behaviour and emotions.
- I offer feedback in both English and French, which is my native language.
What will you get?
As I read your manuscript, I'll leave honest and helpful comments right in the text, sharing my thoughts as your story develops. You'll see exactly what I'm thinking as I go. Here's what that might look like:
- First impressions: What catches my eye? Would I keep reading even if I wasn't paid?
- Reader reactions: You might see comments like "This is stressing me out, hurry!" or "Aw, cute."
- Characters: Do their motivations, reactions, and choices feel believable and clear to me?
- Immersion: Does your world make sense to me? Is it consistent and easy to understand?
- Anything else I can think of, really.
Optional extras:
- You can add another 10,000 words for $10. If you need even more, please contact me so we can discuss the timeline.
- I can also provide a separate reader report that sums up my impressions and gives detailed feedback from a reader.

FAQ
Will you use AI
I won’t feed your manuscript to any LLM. You'll receive a 100% human-made commentary or report, depending on the service you requested.
Will my manuscript remain confidential?
Of course! Your manuscript will not be shared, published, distributed, or used without your explicit consent. I will also delete any files from my computer after the service is delivered.
Can you read manuscripts longer than 10,000 words?
Absolutely! You can add more word count through my extras. Each additional 10,000 words costs $10. For longer manuscripts, please contact me before ordering to confirm the scope and delivery timeline.
What genres do you accept?
I particularly enjoy fantasy and science fiction, but I'm always open to exploring other genres! Feel free to message me if you're unsure whether your manuscript is a good fit.
