FAQ
What test automation frameworks and tools do you use?
I specialise in Playwright (TypeScript/Java), Selenium WebDriver (Java), Appium (Java) for cross-platform mobile apps, and REST Assured / Postman for backend microservices and API testing.
Will I receive the full source code for the automation framework?
Yes, absolutely! You will get 100% complete ownership of the clean source code repository (Git/Bitbucket/GitHub) along with step-by-step instructions on how to run the test suite locally or on a remote server.
Will you do manual testing as part of this service?
Yes! I perform initial manual exploratory testing to thoroughly understand your user flows, uncover edge cases, and catch immediate UI/UX bugs before building the automation framework. This ensures only fully verified, stable features are added to your automated suite.
What information or access do you need from me to get started?
I will need access to your test/staging environment, mobile app build (APK/IPA) if applicable, API endpoints/Swagger documentation, and a brief outline of the key user flows or scenarios you want automated.
How do you ensure the automated tests are reliable and not flaky?
I design frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) design patterns, dynamic explicit waits, decoupled Test Data Management (TDM), and clean OOP principles to guarantee your test scripts are resilient, stable, and easy to maintain long-term.
