About this gig
Look no further for the perfect recipe for your wedding dance! Brides, grooms, fathers, daughters, bridal parties and more! You will recieve an instructional video with counts as well as a demonstration with music. We have come to learn from our experience that less is more when it comes to dance length; that's why your order includes a music edit. 2 minutes is the sweet spot for first dances, and same for father/daughter and mother/son dances. Length is also dependent on the specifics of the song.
We want to make this process manageable! So will are happy to choreograph to your experience level, giving you more or fewer moves to your taste.
Simple and Intimate: We will teach you an entrance, 2-4 moves, and an ending. These routines are outlines that don't require cueing at a specific time. We'll aim for 2 minutes. Great for new dancers.
Magic and Medleys: We will choreograph each beat of your song for a flashy and dramatic first dance. We will add lifts and tricks upon request. Up to 3 minutes of choreography, but we still recommend the 2 minute sweet spot. Medleys up to 3 songs.
Group Numbers: For group routines or longer performances including medleys of 3 songs or more.

My wife Hilary and I have been teaching dance for the last 12 years, and we LOVE working with all types of clients whether they're competitive ballroom dancers, social dancers or couples preparing for their first dance!
We want to provide all dancers, no matter the skill level, with a positive and achievable first dance experience; and with over 500 couples coached, we know how to set you up for a stress-free performance, no matter if it's a simple-and-intimate performance or a showstopping viral sensation!

FAQ
How will we recieve the videos?
We will deliver the videos and music edits via a google drive folder. The videos will be available for download for 2 weeks after delivery.
How much practice to we need?
It depends! For a "simple and intimate" routine we recommend at least 10 practice sessions with the earlier sessions being on the longer side. As you become acquainted with the material, shorter more frequent practice sessions are ideal. As complexity grows, so should your practice schedule!
