FAQ
What information do you need from me to start?
Ideally your measurements or size chart, a sketch or reference image, and any construction notes (fabric type, stretch %, closures, etc.). If you have an existing pattern that needs fixing or grading, send that instead. The more detail you give me upfro
What file formats will I receive?
PDF and/or DXF, depending on what you order. PDF is ready to print at home or at a copy shop (usually tiled across A4/Letter pages plus a full-size layout for large-format printers). DXF is for CAD software, plotters, or factory use.
Can you grade my pattern into multiple sizes?
Yes. I need your target size range and either a size chart or grading rules to follow. If you don't have grading rules yet, let me know — this affects scope and price, so it's best to flag it before ordering.
Can you digitize a paper pattern I already have?
Yes, if you can send clear, flat, well-lit photos or a scan of each piece. Distorted or folded patterns can affect accuracy, so I'll flag any pieces that look unclear before I start.
Will the pattern be ready to sew immediately?
The pattern will include the construction details we agree on (seam allowances, notches, grainlines, etc.), based on the specs you provide. I'd still recommend making a test sample before cutting your final fabric — that's standard practice in pattern ma
Do you make the physical sample or sew the garment?
No I create the digital pattern files only. Sampling and sewing aren't part of this gig.
Can I use this pattern for commercial production?
Yes, you own the pattern for your own products once delivered. I don't reuse or resell your custom pattern to anyone else.
