I believe that an author's book is like their baby, and I believe it deserves the same kind of care and consideration from editors as their authors give their books.

I will provide honest, but encouraging and constructive feedback on your manuscript, whether that be for a beta read or a developmental edit.

For my beta reads and developmental edits:

I will provide in-line comments throughout the manuscript with my thoughts, reactions, and questions I have. I will provide comments via Track Changes within Microsoft Word.

I will also provide a 1-page reader's report for:

• My overall thoughts on your manuscript
• What I liked about your work
• What I think might need improvement
• The themes and takeaways after reading your work

I will focus specifically on your characters, the plot/pacing, your writing style, and your tone for my feedback.

The genres I specialize in are mystery, thriller, romance, horror, and young adult works, especially with a queer/LGBTQ+ content.
