What does your turnaround time look like?
I typically deliver finished voice overs within 48 hours for most projects. However, turnaround time can vary depending on the length and complexity of the script. Once we discuss the details, I can provide a more precise estimate.
Do you handle revisions?
Yes, I include up to two minor revisions in my pricing to ensure you're happy with the final delivery. These revisions typically cover small changes to the tone or pacing. For more extensive script changes, we can discuss additional fees to ensure fair compensation for the extra work.
What kind of voice over styles do you specialize in?
I'm versatile and can adapt to various styles. I'm comfortable with everything from warm and friendly for explainers, to energetic and engaging for commercials, to clear and authoritative for narration. Tell me about your project, and I'll let you know how I can tailor my voice to meet your needs.
What kind of equipment do you use?
Depending on the sound desired, I choose between Shure SM7B dynamic, KSM-44 condenser and Sennheiser MKH416 shotgun microphones paired with the Focusrite ISA One with an onboard analogue to digital conversion. This setup, combined with my acoustically treated studio, ensures clean, clear recordings.
If you could voice any fictional character, who would it be?
I'd love to voice a character in a cozy, feel-good animated movie, like the narrator from Winnie the Pooh. Something calming and comforting.
What's your go-to warm-up routine before a voice over session?
A good cup of tea and some vocal exercises are essential. Sometimes I even throw in a little karaoke session to loosen up the vocal cords!
