Do you accept PDFs?
I do not accept PDF files. I proofread using either tracked changes on Microsoft Word or suggested edits on Google Docs. Please convert PDFs to Microsoft Word or Google Docs before making an order.
What kinds of files do you accept?
I accept Word documents, or I can complete work in Google Docs if preferred. If you have a different kind of file, please message me before ordering and I will see if I can accept it.
Do you proofread any kind of text?
Mostly - however, I do not undertake proofreading of legal documents or similar. If your work contains highly technical language, please message me first. Otherwise, if your work falls within the word counts outlined in my gig packages, you can just place an order.
Do you offer formatting services or graphic design?
No, I do not offer formatting services or any kind of graphic design work. This is a proofreading and copyediting gig only.
My document is larger than 5000 words. Can you proofread it?
Yes, I don't have a word limit on what I can proofread. However, you should contact me first, and I will make you a custom offer for the order depending on my availability.
Do I need to message you before ordering?
If your needs fit within the gig packages, then you do not need to message me. However, if you require a custom gig package, additional words, or a faster turnaround time, then please message me and I will be happy to discuss it with you.
Do you offer rewriting or paraphrasing?
No. This gig involves proofreading and grammatical copyediting only.
Do you proofread ChatGPT or AI-generated content?
I do, but I do not offer rewriting or fact-checking.
