Can you work with PDF files?
Unfortunately I am unable to work with PDF files. For this proofreading and editing gig I work in Word/Docx and Google Docs, if this format is not useable for you please check with me before placing an order to discuss.
Are you able to go over the word limit for larger projects?
I am absolutely happy to proofread and edit your larger project but please contact me before placing an order so we can discuss your needs. If I'm able to help I will then make you a custom offer.
Are you able to work with any languages other than English?
Unfortunately I can only proofread and edit documents in English. Whilst I speak a little Spanish, I'm a native English speaker (from the UK) and feel this is where I'm best placed to deliver a quality service.
Do you offer rewriting services?
This is not a rewriting service but I will rewrite sections. Please contact me in advance to discuss.
Do you offer formatting?
I don't, sorry! This is exclusively a proofreading and editing gig.
Will you work with translated documents?
I do but I would be grateful if you could contact me in advance. Ideally I would look at the document to check the quality of translation as the weaker it is the more work and time it requires. Therefore a custom offer might be required.
What do you edit?
I correct any errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation. I edit for consistency and improve any awkward sentences so they read more naturally. The editing is 'light' to keep your own voice shining through & I only edit what needs it. I will also provide feedback for further improvements your end.
