About this Gig
I am a native German Proofreader, translator (English to German) and a trained commercial assistant in the field of foreign languages.
After college, I studied German, American English and British English language and literature at a university in Germany. I have previously worked as a translator and proofreader in an E-commerce company and I am currently working as a head translator and proofreader in a localization agency.
I will proofread the following:
- Blog posts and articles
- Short stories
- Informal mails and letters
- Website contents
- Books (fantasy, lifestyle, thriller, romance, etc.)
I will NOT proofread:
- legal documents
- contracts
- policies

What types of texts do you accept?
I am always looking for challenges, however, I don't feel comfortable proofreading formal documents, such as job applications, legal documents and contracts or policies. I also don't translate gaming contents as I am contracted in that field.
How fast can you deliver?
Usually, 5 Dollar orders will be delivered within a few hours. If you are looking to have a larger wordcount proofread within 24 hours or if your word count is not covered by the scope of my gig packages, please contact me!
What is included in your proofreading and copy-editing gigs, can I choose which applies to my text?
