I've been building backends and wiring up third party services professionally for 5 years across multiple products from early stage startups to client facing platforms handling real users. I know what breaks in production, what third party documentation leaves out, and how to build APIs that your frontend team can actually work with without coming back to you every day.
This gig is for you if:

FAQ
What is not included in this gig?
Frontend development, UI design, mobile app development, hosting, server setup, domain configuration, and ongoing maintenance are not part of this gig. I build the API only. If you need any of these discuss it before ordering so we can scope it separately.
What do you need from me to get started?
A clear description of what the API needs to do, your existing stack if any, and credentials or documentation for any external service. The clearer you are upfront the faster the delivery.
Do I need to provide credentials for external services?
Yes. You will need an active account with the relevant service and provide API keys or credentials before work begins. I build and test everything using your account
What database do you work with?
MongoDB and MySQL. If you are using something else message me before ordering and I will confirm if I can support it.
What happens if the external service has downtime during development?
Third party service outages are outside my control. If a service goes down during delivery I will communicate the delay and resume once it is back up. Delivery timelines may adjust accordingly.
Who is responsible for testing the API on your end?
I deliver a working Postman collection that proves every endpoint works as agreed. Any issues found during your own frontend integration that were not caught in the agreed scope are considered new requests, not revisions
What if I am not reachable during the project?
I need timely responses to move forward — especially for external service credentials, feedback, and requirement clarifications. If I do not hear back within 2 business days on a critical question I will pause the project. Delivery timelines only run when both sides are communicating
What counts as a revision?
A revision is a fix to something that does not match what was originally agreed and documented before work started.
What if the third party API I want integrated has no sandbox environment?
Some services do not offer a testing environment and require live credentials from the start. In that case any API usage costs, transaction fees, or charges incurred during development are your responsibility
