FAQ
What will I receive with my order?
The deliverable for this gig is an MS Word document with my suggestions and notes recorded using Track Changes. I will also write a short editorial letter summarizing my suggestions. If I cite any sources, I’ll include a complete bibliography as well.
What experience do you have?
I have three years of editing experience. I’m also a professional researcher (please see my popular research gig here on Fiverr). In terms of formal training, I have advanced degrees in the humanities and social sciences.
Can you add new research to my writing?
Yes, definitely. I’m happy to suggest new sources. This gig pairs well with my research service.
Do you proofread documents?
Yes, I do, though this isn’t primarily a proofreading gig. This service does, however, inevitably require proofreading/copyediting.
Do you provide ghostwriting and/or research reports?
Yes, I have gigs that are specifically dedicated to those services, and I can also combine those services with this one (editing).
I am a student. Will you write my papers for me?
No. I get a staggering number of plagiarism requests no matter how clear I am about this. If your professor is comfortable with you getting help on your writing, then we can certainly have that conversation. But, ultimately, you need to do your own work.
