I will review and grade your essay

About this gig
Sometimes, when you've been staring at your own writing for too long, it can be difficult to tell how it reads to other people. Did you spell something wrong? Do your arguments even make sense?? Figuring that out can be an exhausting step, especially when you don't have feedback from someone else to point you in the right direction. That's why I'm here to help!
I will read through your essay, grade it (if you have a rubric or assignment description), and provide feedback on how you can make your writing more effective. Once you check it out and make some changes, I'll do one more pass to catch anything that might still be missing. From small grammatical fixes to higher-level rearrangement, together we'll bring the best out of your writing.
(Note: I am giving you feedback on your writing, not writing your paper for you. Not only would that be academically dishonest, but it's also far more work than you're paying me for.)

FAQ
How will you grade my paper?
If you have a rubric for the assignment, I can base a grade off of that. This just helps me figure out what you need to prioritize. Keep in mind that I'm not your professor, so the grade I give may not be what you'd get if you submitted it to them! The more info I have, the easier it'll be to help.
What if my paper is longer than 2,500 words?
No problem! 2,500 words is about 10 pages. Depending on how much longer your paper is than that, we can figure out a price that makes sense and continue from there.
What file format should my paper be in?
To keep things as easy as possible, I ask that your paper be sent as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file.
Do you use AI to review my paper?
Short answer: No. Long answer: Absolutely not. I will never give your writing to a language model, and neither should you. Anything you give it will be taken, recycled, and ultimately plagiarized. Unlike ChatGPT, I also actually know what I'm talking about (and I drink far less water).
