I will build a custom headless Shopify storefront using Vue 3/Nuxt 3. Your customers get a fast, branded ecommerce experience, while Shopify securely manages products, inventory, payments, shipping, discounts and orders.

How it works:
Your public website runs separately from Shopify. Shopify remains the ecommerce backend, so you can manage products, prices, stock, discounts, orders and fulfilment from the Shopify admin without needing a developer for every product update.
For brands that want a custom, fast storefront without being restricted by a standard Shopify theme.
Important:
Shopify subscription, domain and third-party app costs are not included.
Client must provide Shopify collaborator access or a development store.
Checkout and payment processing remain securely hosted by Shopify.

FAQ
Will I be able to edit products and prices myself?
Yes. You manage products, images, variants, stock, prices, discounts and orders in Shopify Admin. Product changes appear on the storefront without redeploying the site.
Is Shopify still handling payments and orders?
Yes. Shopify handles secure checkout, payments, taxes, shipping, inventory and orders. The custom Vue/Nuxt site is the customer-facing storefront.
Can you work with my existing Shopify store?
Yes. Provide Shopify collaborator access and I can build the storefront against your existing products and collections.
Do I need Shopify?
Yes. Shopify is the ecommerce backend for this service. Its subscription and transaction costs are separate from my development fee.
Will checkout use my own domain?
A branded checkout subdomain can be configured, for example checkout.yourdomain.com, subject to Shopify’s domain setup. Shopify supports the external storefront plus branded checkout-subdomain pattern. Shopify documentation
Can you use a normal Shopify theme instead?
This gig is for a custom headless storefront. If you need a standard Shopify theme edit, message me first because that is a different service.
