FAQ
Will my store be offline during the migration?
No. Your existing website remains fully live and operational throughout the entire migration process. I build your new Shopify store in the background and only switch the domain once everything is tested and approved by you.
Will I lose any products, images or customer data?
No data loss guaranteed. I perform a full pre-migration backup and use a structured migration process that preserves all products, images, descriptions, variants, customer data and order history (where the source platform allows export).
I'm on Thinkific — can you migrate my courses and digital content to Shopify?
Yes! This is available in the Premium package. I will migrate your course content, digital products, membership tiers and student information to Shopify, using apps like Courses Plus or Sky Pilot to replicate your Thinkific functionality natively in Shopify.
Do you set up the Shopify theme and design too?
Yes. Depending on your package, I'll either install and configure a free Shopify theme (Basic), install and customise a premium theme (Standard), or deliver a fully branded custom theme with your logo, fonts and colour palette (Premium).
Will my Google rankings be affected after migration?
SEO is handled carefully. In the Standard and Premium packages, I migrate all SEO meta data, preserve URL structures where possible, and set up 301 redirects from your old URLs to your new Shopify URLs — protecting your existing Google rankings.
How many products can you migrate?
Basic handles up to 50 products, Standard up to 200, and Premium covers unlimited products. If you have a very large catalog, message me first and I'll give you a custom quote
Do you need admin access to my current site?
Yes, I'll need read/export access to your current platform and admin access to your Shopify store. All credentials are handled securely and confidentially. I can also sign an NDA if required
What if I need something not listed in the packages?
Just message me before ordering. I offer custom packages for complex migrations, multi-currency stores, B2B setups, large catalogs, and advanced Shopify Plus configurations. I'll give you a tailored quote within a few hours
