- All percussive instruments as a whole - All vocals as a whole - All Bass frequencies and most likely bass based isntruments as a whole - All Other instruments as a whole (keys, guitars, brass, strings etc.) -> So I can provide you 4 different stems, or a mix of them. ;)

Depends on the case. Best to just send it to me in advance. Vocals differ from most instruments, but even then many instruments in the mids clash with vocals. It is a wonder things are possible like it is nowadays, since it involves complex EQing, deconstruction and reconstruction of frequencies .

As of 2021, it is not. When Lead and BG Vox are playing simultaneously it is not possible to separate them from just one file. When they play consecutively without overlapping it is possible to extract them one by one though.

Bascially most of them. But try to provide me a file with a good bitrate. 128 kbit/s is too little normally, but surely will work as well to some degree. Important digital information is missing then though, so better provide me a uncompressed or little compressed file. ;) .wav is great or 320kbit/s

The list is too long to write it down here. The main DAW I use is REAPER. The main plugins I use for this kind of work are from Izotope (RX8), Fabfilter (EQ) and Zplane (PEEL). There are a lot more of course, depending on the specific needs of the song. I also run it through a basic master chain.
