About this gig
Hello there! I'm an artist with a post grad degree in Art and Design Studies and I'm passionate about making hand drawn flat, sketchy and whimsical illustrations for kids and young adults. If you're looking for artwork for your book or story which is unique and stands out from the mainstream illustrations, I'd love to connect. In the past I have illustrated:
- Chapter books on African and Egyptian culture and celebrating diversity
- Introducing ages 3 to 8 to eating well and other life skills (like pooping, hehe)
- Picture books on stories of jungle
- Stories for middle grade fiction about adventures
Along with illustrations, I also offer handwritten text, book layout, formatting, book covers, coloring books, and merchandise design to go with your book.
And don't worry, all illustrations will be completely hand-drawn and made fresh for your children's book, with no clipart, AI or reuse of illustrations. I have been illustrating children's books here on Fiverr since 2017. You can trust me to deliver authentic and original work free from plagiarism.

I'm a multi-passionate artist and writer. I discovered book illustrations on Fiverr when I was doing my diploma in Fashion Design from Karachi, Pakistan in 2016 and I haven't stopped since. Today I have illustrated, designed and edited numerous children's books and poetry books for authors and publishing houses internationally as well as branding and editorial illustrations. My specific interests lie in creative projects that include conceptual illustrations, whimsical colors and themes connecting to stories, myths, feminism, social change, holistic wellness, astrology and occult science.

Can you turn my kids into storybook characters?
Yes, ofcourse! I've done projects like that.
Do you offer proofreading and copyediting?
Yes, if your book needs it. I have a separate gig for that.
What softwares and tools do you use?
I use Adobe Photoshop and an iPad. if it's required, I will draw on paper first and then add details on iPad. or I scan assets like textured paper for a hand drawn feel. For book layout I use Adobe InDesign.
Can you use illustrator?
I use it if it's required but it's not my go-to softwares for hand drawn work.
