I am an experienced design engineer with expertise in Autodesk Inventor CAD modelling. I have completed a BSc in Product Design and 9 years working as a design engineer.
I will model your idea in sheet metal 3D CAD using Inventor, make it ready for sheet metal manufacturing.
I can also remodel a folded CAD file (Eg STEP) into Sheet Metal so that you can get a flat pattern from it and make design modifications (please select 'premium')
What You Can Expect:
- 3D model of each component (STEP or IGES format)
- 2D technical drawing per part
- STL files for 3D printing (if applicable)
- Source file in Inventor 2020 format
- DWG/DXF flat pattern file for laser cutting or other sheet metal manufacture

I gave Jack a model as a .step file and he pulled it into autocad inventor to prepare it for cutting and bending with the US based service sendcutsend.com. He tested the file and delivered a .dxf file for cutting and bending, and a pdf drawing. Delivered on time and under budget with a couple revisions.
