Do you write the essay for me?
No. I provide coaching, brainstorming, feedback, and revision guidance while keeping the student's own ideas and voice at the center of the essay.
Do I need to have a draft before our session?
Not at all! The Basic package is specifically designed for students who are starting from scratch. We can brainstorm ideas together and figure out where to begin.
Can you help with supplemental essays?
Yes! I can help you brainstorm and develop supplemental essays, including "Why this school?", "Why this major?", and short-answer prompts.
What should I send you before our session?
Send me the essay prompt and, if you have one, your current draft or any ideas you've already written down. I'll let you know if there's anything else that would be helpful.
Can we work on more than one essay?
Yes, although how much we can accomplish depends on the length and complexity of the essays. For multiple essays, send me a message beforehand and we can determine the best option.
What if I'm not sure which package I need?
Just send me a message describing where you are in the process, and I'll help you choose the package that makes the most sense.
