About this Gig
You have a business list (a CRM export, a conference download, spreadsheets a team has added to for a year) and it has duplicates, inconsistent formatting, half filled columns and three spellings of the same company. I return it clean: one row per entity, consistent formatting, and a change log showing exactly what was merged, altered or removed, so nothing is taken on trust.
Nothing is fetched from the web. Your file is the only input, and the work is deterministic: the same file in gives the same file out, which is why this is the fastest of my data gigs.
Scope: business records only (company names, addresses, contact details, categories). A file whose subject is private individuals is declined before work starts, at no charge. No enrichment: nothing is added that is not already in your file, because anything added would need its own source.
You receive cleaned.csv and cleaned.xlsx (one row per entity, headers normalised) and changes.csv (row identifier, column, value before, value after, reason). Standard and Premium add a review tab for uncertain matches; Premium adds a data dictionary and completeness summary. The gallery image shows an illustrative before and after.

What if my file's subject is private individuals, or otherwise outside business record scope?
I decline before any work starts and nothing is charged. This service covers business records only: company names, business addresses, and business contact details.
Is the cleanup automated?
Yes. Matching and normalization run automatically, and I review the output, including anything on the review tab, before delivery.
Will you verify or correct the facts in my file?
No. I clean formatting and remove duplicates; I do not verify or correct the underlying facts. Every change is logged in changes.csv with a before value, an after value, and a reason, so you can see exactly what happened and reverse anything.
Do you add personal data about individuals to my file?
No. There is no enrichment of any kind: nothing is added that is not already in your file, and no personal data about private individuals is collected or added.
