About this Gig
Are you an English speaker who's struggling with Spanish big time?
Do you often wish you could get to know better the Latin American culture, which is so different and unique, expanding your knowledge and social circle along the way?
I know learning Spanish can be quite intimidating. Its grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary are so different from English.
Haven't been able to find the right person to help you along your journey?
I know you'd value someone who:
- Gives you the tools to communicate your ideas in Spanish right out of the gate.
- Is caring, patient and understanding.
- Most importantly, someone who can understand your struggles and needs to learn Spanish as an English speaker.
I got your back.

FAQ
What's your level of English?
I'm not a native speaker, but I'm a C2.
What's your availability?
I'd recommend having 2-3 lessons a week. If you need more than that, we can work something out.
How long will it take me to be fluent in Spanish?
That's a tough question, as it depends on way too many factors. If you're really willing to put in the effort, then I'd say you could reach intermediate fluency in 6 months as an absolute beginner.
What's your main teaching strategy?
Well, it depends on the needs of the student. I've designed over 500 lessons over the past few years, and I can use the ones that I see fit for the learner's requirements. However, as a teacher, I love to implement student-based lessons where they actively put the target language into use.
